Motorcycle Pipes/Headers

Motorcycle headers and pipes are engineered to help your engine breathe. Better exhaust flow off the head means quicker acceleration, a stronger midrange and a meaner sound, which is why headers are the upgrade riders reach for when they want a real performance gain rather than just a louder muffler. We carry header pipes, head pipes and mid-pipes from Vance & Hines, Akrapovic, Yoshimura and LeoVince.

The header is where most of the tuning happens. Larger diameter primaries favour top-end power, while stepped or smaller primaries build midrange torque, which is generally what you want on the street. A 2-into-1 collector tends to make more midrange, while a 2-into-2 keeps the stock look and sound character. Whichever you choose, a header change alters the air-fuel ratio significantly, so plan on a fuel controller or ECU flash at the same time. Confirm fitment against your exact make, model and year, and check whether the pipe includes O2 sensor bungs for your setup.

Frequently asked questions

Do headers make more power than a slip-on? Yes. A slip-on mostly changes sound and weight, while a header changes the exhaust flow at the source and, with proper tuning, delivers the larger real power gain.

Do I need to retune after installing headers? Yes. Headers lean out the mixture noticeably, so a fuel controller or ECU flash is required to protect the engine and realize the gain.

Do you offer free shipping in Canada? Yes, on orders over $279.99.
