Motorcycle Slip-on Exhausts

Slip-on exhausts are the single most popular motorcycle exhaust upgrade, and for good reason. A slip-on replaces the muffler only, bolting to your stock header, so you get a deeper exhaust note, a lighter bike and sharper throttle response without the cost or the tuning headache of a full system. We stock slip-on mufflers from Vance & Hines, Yoshimura, Akrapovic, LeoVince and Two Brothers.

Pick yours on fitment first: slip-ons are model and year specific, so confirm your exact bike before ordering. After that it is mostly about material and sound. Stainless steel is the durable everyday choice, titanium and carbon shave more weight for more money, and a black ceramic finish hides heat marks. Most bikes will run acceptably on the stock map with a slip-on, but adding a fuel controller sharpens the fueling and is worth doing if you plan a filter or intake change later. Check the removable baffle if you ride where sound bylaws are enforced.

Frequently asked questions

Will a slip-on exhaust need a tuner? Usually not. A slip-on alone runs acceptably on most stock maps, though a fuel controller will smooth out the fueling and is worth adding if you also change the air filter.

Are slip-on exhausts hard to install? No. Most are a 30 to 60 minute job with basic hand tools: loosen the clamp, remove the stock muffler, fit the new can and tighten. No cutting or welding.

Do you offer free shipping in Canada? Yes, on orders over $279.99.
