Motocross Oil & Chemicals

High-performance motocross oils, lubricants and cleaners built to handle the abuse of dirt, dust and brutal conditions. From full synthetic 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine oils to chain lube, air filter oil, fork oil, brake cleaner and heavy-duty bike wash, this collection keeps your engine running strong, your chain quiet and your dirt bike looking fresh even after the muddiest rides. We stock Maxima, Motorex, Motul, Bel-Ray and Twin Air.

Get the basics right and everything else lasts longer. Use the oil weight your manual specifies and change 4-stroke engine oil far more often than a street bike, since a motocross engine runs hot and revs hard: every 5 to 10 hours is normal for a race bike. Premix ratios for 2-strokes are set by the manufacturer, so measure rather than eyeball. Re-oil your air filter every ride in dry, dusty conditions, because a dry filter passes dirt straight into the engine. For chains, an O-ring specific lube is worth the extra few dollars, as some aggressive cleaners and lubes will attack the seals and cost you a chain.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I change dirt bike oil? Most 4-stroke motocross engines want fresh oil every 5 to 10 riding hours, far sooner than a street bike. Check your manual and shorten the interval if you race or ride in sand.

What premix ratio does my 2-stroke need? Follow the manufacturer's spec, commonly between 32 to 1 and 50 to 1. Measure it accurately rather than estimating, since too little oil risks a seizure and too much fouls plugs.
