• Cast aluminium alloy (not forged) with a 18-21% silicone content gives you a light but strong piston with great wear resistance.
• Piston skirts are Bisulphide coated for faster break-in time and increased piston life.
• All pistons are heat treated with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle.
• Chromate steel ring are the finest available for racing.
• With proper break-in, Vertex pistons will not experience the problems commonly associated with forged pistons.
