How often should a dirt bike air filter be cleaned? In dry conditions every 3 to 5 rides is reasonable. In sand or mud, clean it after every ride. A choked filter costs more power than most bolt-on parts will ever add.

Do Twin Air foam filters come pre-oiled? Some are sold pre-oiled and some are dry. A dry filter needs a proper foam filter oil worked through it evenly before it goes in the airbox, so check the listing and oil it if needed.
