How often should I change my motorcycle air filter? Most manufacturers call for replacement every 20,000 to 25,000 km, sooner if you ride dusty roads. Check it at every oil change and replace it when the pleats are grey.

Are washable performance air filters worth it? If you keep the bike for several seasons, yes. A K&N or Uni element is reusable for years, but it has to be cleaned, re-oiled and fully dried each time.
