What do motorcycle crash bars actually protect? A highway bar or engine guard takes the impact in a low speed tip over, keeping the engine cases, primary cover and your leg off the pavement. It will not save a bike in a high speed crash.

Do I need separate highway pegs? Not with every model. Several Lindby bars are built with integrated peg mounts, so check the product listing before buying pegs and clamps separately.
