SPX is proud to present the QUANTUM SERIES PISTON. The evolutionary piston is made from a space-age aluminum alloy which maintains its high tensile strength up to 700F (300C). This is 50% higher than a conventional cast piston. This high resistance to temperatures significantly improves fatigue, strength and impact toughness. The aluminum alloy combined with the existing anodized crown, machine smoothed heads and MOS2 coated skirts meets the demand for todays high performance engines.
