How do clutch weights change how my sled rides? Heavier weights engage and shift the clutch sooner, which favours low-end pull, and lighter weights hold revs longer for top end. Elevation moves the right answer too.

Do I need to change the spring when I change weights? Often yes. Weights and springs work as a pair, and changing one without the other usually gives a sled that pulls well in one part of the range and flat in another.
