Are Vortex frame sliders model specific? Yes. They mount to the frame at the factory points for that exact model, which is the reason they work in a tip-over where a universal slider often does not.
What does a lowering link actually change? It reduces rear ride height, which drops seat height and gets more of your foot on the ground. It also changes the geometry, so the front usually wants a matching adjustment.
