Open Face Motorcycle Helmets

3/4 vs full coverage
An open face, or 3/4, helmet protects the top, back and sides of your head while leaving your face open, which many cruiser and around-town riders prefer for visibility and airflow. If you want more protection for highway speeds, compare them against full face helmets, or step down to a half helmet for the lightest option.

How to choose
Check the fit first: an open face helmet should sit snug with no pressure points, and the shell should carry a DOT or ECE certification for legal road use in Canada. Look for a drop-down or snap-on visor if you ride without goggles, and a removable liner for easier cleaning.
