Cycra Racing Plastics

Cycra makes professional-grade racing plastics, handguards and related protection for dirt bikes and off-road motorcycles. Its handguard lineup includes open handguards and hand shields that release easily in a fall, plus closed handguards with full mounting brackets for maximum impact protection, alongside popular models like the Probend, Stealth and MX Race guards.

Founded in 1997 by brothers Glen and Ken Laivins, Cycra now operates a large manufacturing facility in Thomasville, North Carolina. Known for some of the most trusted handguards in the sport, the brand is chosen by racers and trail riders for durable, race-developed plastics and protection.
