Dirt Bike Chain Guides

A thrown chain can take a case with it. We stock chain guides and slider kits for dirt bikes and motocross machines: front and rear chain guides, swingarm chain sliders, chain rollers and replacement wear blocks from the brands that build for the track.

Guides and sliders are wear items, so check them the same way you check sprockets. A grooved slider or a guide with the plastic worn through lets the chain contact the swingarm and start sawing into it, which is a far more expensive repair. Replace the wear block before it disappears, keep chain slack in spec so the guide is not fighting the chain, and match the kit to your make, model and year. Free shipping over $279.99 across Canada.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I replace a dirt bike chain slider? Check it every few ride days and replace it before the plastic wears through to the swingarm. Sand and mud riders go through them much faster than hardpack riders.

Do I need a chain guide and a slider, or just one? Most bikes use both. The rear guide keeps the chain on the sprocket, and the swingarm slider protects the arm where the chain rides on it. Replacing them as a set is the usual approach.

Do you offer free shipping in Canada? Yes, on orders over $279.99.
